Ditsapelo Makati is a human resources specialist. She holds a BA (Hons) in Personnel Management from Plymouth University in England and a Master of Business Administration from De Montfort University in Gaborone.
She also holds several Human Resources certificates, including an Executive Development Programme from the University of Stellenbosch in South Africa. She brings over 31 years of experience delivering strategic and operational human resources solutions.
Her expertise includes talent management, employee relations, performance management, and organisational development, with a strong focus on aligning people strategies to business objectives. She has successfully led initiatives that enhance employee engagement, strengthen workplace culture, and ensure compliance with labour laws and the Employment Act.
Ms Makati is currently engaged by HRMC Talent Management Company as a Senior Consultant. She has worked across different sectors including parastatals, private sector, NGOs, and the financial services industry.
Her previous experience includes companies such as Debswana, Standard Chartered Bank, Absa Bank Botswana, ACHAP, Botswana Meat Commission, and Diamond Trading Company. She has also been engaged as a private consultant by Heritage Dalita, Options Group, and Makati Law.
