Thato Lesejane is a Fellow Chartered Accountant. She holds a Bachelor of Accounting from the University of Botswana and a qualification from the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA).
She holds several certificates including Enterprise Risk Management, Financial Modelling and Analysis, and an Executive Development Program from Stellenbosch University. She has over 21 years of experience and a strong track record in financial leadership, governance, and strategic oversight.
Her expertise includes financial strategy, governance, audit oversight, risk management, and corporate reporting across industries.
Ms Lesejane is currently the Head of Finance and Administration at BPOMAS, where she previously served as Accountant. She has also worked for Standard Chartered Bank as a consumer banking partner and at KPMG Botswana as an Audit Senior.
She has served on a number of boards and brings extensive fiduciary and governance experience, including as an Independent Non-Executive Director and Chairperson in a regulated financial environment.
