B.R. Properties (Pty) Ltd is incorporated under the Companies Act, registration number BW00001818407. The company is 100% owned by Botswana Railways and operates as a separate entity governed by its own Board of Directors.

BRP was formed pursuant to Section 12 of the Botswana Railways Act of 1989, as amended in 2004, to support the generation of income from the commercial use and exploitation of assets owned or vested in Botswana Railways.

Over more than seventeen years of operation, BRP has grown to serve Botswana Railways and external clients including Gaborone Container Terminal (GABCON) and Botswana Telecommunications Corporation Limited (BTCL).
