Emmanuel Mahosi is a risk management professional. He holds a BSc in Occupational Health and Safety from Newcastle University in Australia, a Certificate in Risk Management and Safety Technology from Aston University in the United Kingdom, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Railway Safety from SIDA University in Sweden.
He also possesses various certificates in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. He brings over 23 years of experience in leading integrated safety, health and environmental strategies across complex operational environments.
His expertise spans enterprise-wide risk management, incident prevention, regulatory compliance, sustainable environmental and occupational health outcomes, and the development of robust SHE management systems aligned with international standards.
Mr Mahosi is currently the Safety, Health, Environmental and Quality Director at Botswana Railways. He has extensive experience in Safety, Health and Environmental management from both government and private sector organisations.
He has worked for the Ministry of Labour and Home Affairs in several positions and for Kgalagadi Breweries Limited as Loss Control Coordinator. He is also the founder of Fin Smart (Pty) Ltd, a consultancy assisting companies to set up SHERQ management systems.
